What are glimmers?

Glimmers are moments of joy that make us feel happy and hopeful. They promote connection and support a feeling of calm and content.

I am a true believer that having the opportunity to be an educator is one of the greatest privileges that we can be afforded in life. However, it is difficult to avoid the fact that along with the awe and wonder that comes with being an educational practitioner, there can be a feeling of the clerical and administrative in the day-to-day expectations of the role.

It is my hope that ‘Glimmers in Education’ can be a place where ideas, practical suggestions, thoughts and musings can be shared to continue to keep the spark of ‘unwavering light’ alive and a place to return to the true calling of what it means to be part of, what I consider to be, the most rewarding profession to choose to devote a life to.

  • Glimmers in Education will be shedding its light. Weekly.
